world - since 1999 -- with the World Wildlife Fund,
she has bought 14 square miles of virgin Brazilian rain
forest; 52 acres of protected habitat for tigers, snow
leopards, and jaguars; 43 acres of Giant Panda protected
habitat;
she has climbed 2 kms up a mountain for Breast Cancer
research fundraising; swum 5 kms in the ocean for Save
the Oceans campaign fundraising;
performed at over 15 events for Tibetan freedom; held
an art exhibition for Female Genital Mutilation & End
Violence Against Women education and fundraising (200
million women alive in the world today with mutilated
genitals and no clitoris);
volunteer english language teaching Tibetan refugees
in Dharmsala to enable their application for asylum
in a western country;
NGO volunteer work orphan homeless street children in
Indonesia and India; attended various protests against
deforestation, uranium mining, International Peace Marches
, and many many other events.
In May 2002 Alice was diagnosed with an
incurable fatal condition. Refusing chemotherapy,
she is hoping to avoid organ transplant by using organic
therapies.
She is organizing funds for a journey to find shamans
and healers.
