all its a week since Britain's largest public protest, along with all our other brothers and sisters globally we sent a vote out to our leaders that we want peace and a war with Iraq is not acceptable just for the personal benefit of a few individuals. The march in London had close to two million peoples from all religions, races, there were old peoples, youngsters, people from the left to right of all opinions,a true show of the diversity of our country but with a common unity, that war just aint the way these days to solve our problems. I personally had some friends for whom this was their first march and we all felt the emotional experience of standing, marching, chanting for a common cause, these kinds of experiences i think bind us again as a community, something that we do not experience on a regular basis these days and the great thing is that for every person there there were 10 who stayed at home and felt the same vibes. The day showed how through civil protest, we have the power to make a difference and make real changes in our world, which these days is very important because so many people are cynical and always say "well what can i do?, it will not make a difference." but last saturday the level of awareness of our global community rose up and spoke out! So i say down with Bush and Blair they are the real threats to world safety and big ups to all my fellow humans who represented on a most historic day! peace chop xxx |
