I just returned from Spain where we did an amazing strong work with Hilario called a Natemamu-ceremony. There were forty people from seven different countries and it was a very powerful experience for all of us.
In a few weeks I will publish the whole story and the pictures on my website, so that you can have an impression what it is all about. Because of the big success, we gonna do it next year again from 14th till 21st of June in the same place in the Pyrenees of Northern Spain.
For anyone who couldn't make it to Spain there's a possibility to work with Hilario in September. For certain reasons I changed our policy and will do only ceremonies in a tipi with him in the future (but not during the winter). I shall explain why:
The ceremonies of Hilario can be as best described as an alliance between the Condor from the South and the Eagle from the North. When 500 years ago the Europeans went to North and South-America to conquer these continents with incredible cruelty, this turned out as the destruction of the native tribes. They call this tragedy the Trail of Tears. In this time a prophecy has been made that at the moment that the Condor and the Eagle should meet, this would be the beginning of a new period. A period of hope and glory for the native people. In the past ten years this meeting has taken place and spiritual leaders from different South- and North-American tribes have met and influenced each other. The ayahuasca-ceremonies from Hilario Chiriap are an example of this meeting. In his work he is influenced by the Lakota-tradition and by the peyote-tradition of the Native American Church from North-America.
That's why he prefers to do the ceremonies in a tipi in which the Sacred Fire and the Mother Earth altar are the main elements. The fire is also very important for transforming the negative energies. During the ceremonies he's praying with Sacred Tabacco and with the Sacred Pipe (Chanupa) with is originally not from his tradition. He also works regular with the medicine of the Sweatlodge, he has done several times a Vision Quest and danced the Sun Dance. This path of the Condor and the Eagle is also called The Red Path, because this is a path for all of humanity, for all the races, we are all family from each other and connected by the same colour of our blood.
Because I like to support this Red Path tradition, this particular way of working, I want to do the ceremonies as much as possible in a big tipi. It is much more work for me to organise this, it is more expensive and we can have less people in the tipi, but nevertheless I think it is worth all this effort, because the quality of the ceremony is much better and the medicine and healing is much stronger. So for September I found a beautiful place on the border of Holland and Belgium, near Maastricht. It is a very powerful nature-spot and I look forward to do our ceremonies there.

Tuesday 23th till Friday 26th: Workshop Shuar-songs*
Friday 26th : Ayahuasca-ceremony
Saturday 27th : Ayahuasca-ceremony
The ceremonies are starting at 21.00 and lasts till the next morning 09.00. After we have breakfast together and share our experiences. You can stay till midday for walking in nature or relaxing in the tipi. You can go home at the moment that you feel really good.

WORKSHOP SHUAR-SONGS
From Tuesday 23th till Friday 26th there will be a four day workshop and Hilario is going to teach us his Shuarsongs. He also wants to teach us to play the toman and to learn us different dances. At this moment I am not sure exactly what will be the contents of the days, but roughly it will be
Tuesday 23th Of September: Arrival between 18.00 and 20.00 Around 21.00 ayahuasca-ceremony in the tipi and he Hilario will start to teach us some songs
Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th of September: In the daytime resting and sleeping and in the night-time, medicine-work and teachings of songs, instruments and dances
Friday 26th of September: In the daytime resting and sleeping and in the nighttime big ayahuasca-ceremony where we can show the people who didn’t join the workshop what we have learned in the past days, songs, instruments, dances.
Price: 250 Euro, including food and bed. Minimum amount of people: 10
As I said at this moment I don’t know exactly what will happen. I try to contact Hilario but he's in Ecuador at the moment. Be aware that it can be intense, working with Hilario always means, not much sleep, not much food and lots of ayahuasca. If you are interested please let me know that makes it easier to do make a balanced program.
