New Product: MANDRAKE LIQUEUR.

*This is a completely new product, which is a new formulation of very old drinks made of mandrake. The plant, typical from the Mediterranean area, has been known since ever for its halucinogetic properties, specially of the root. The plant was associated with magic since the Romans, and during the Middle Ages whitches were said to drink it during their festivals (called in the Basque country AKELARRES). This new liqueur is drunk best very cold, after a meal. But we stress that it must be drunk with moderation, the mandrake has very strong properties (it is not by chance that whitches were said to be able to fly...).

Tasting Notes: This Liqueur is made through a maceration of various herbs, eucalyptus honey, and mainly mandrake roots, well known plant since ancient tmes for its allucinogetic properties. In the Middle Ages, so the legend says, witches used to drink the mandrake in licquor or as an infusion, so that they could communicate better with the spiritual world. This liqueur must be drunk cold and with moderation.
