The band from thecommunitywill sing the songs channelled by Yatra during her Ayahuasca path.
 
*Canto dos Orixás
Sep. 28th and okt. 5th
Songs called “pontos” from Umbanda, to praise all the Orixás. The Orixás are the spirits of the forest, the sea, the rocks, the rivers, ect.
And the spirits of Indians, caboclos, children etc…
 
*Community songs
Oct. 3rd and the 12th
Songs channelled by the people from the community as well as people from other churches and some English songs.

IMPORTANT: Because of the available space it is absolutely necessary for everybody to confirm his/her participation for a ritual.

Ritual Space: “De Ruimte” Weesperzijde nr 80 Amsterdam
The building is actually located between Weesperzijde and Wibautstraat.You cannot see it when you drive by. At Weesperzijde  nr 80Amsterdam there is a gate where you pass under and you will see a blue/green building with a fire escape stairway. That is it. Entrance is around the corner at the end
!!!The Ritual on the 3 rd of October is upstairs (take the fire escape stairway)!!!
 
    *Time : De Ritual space is open at 19.00 hour, the ritual begins at 20.00 hours and will end at about 02.00 hours.Please be on time!
 

 - GUIDE LINES FOR THE RITUALS.
 
We strongly advice to fast on the day of the ritual as much as you can. In any case, do not eat anymore from up to 4 hours before the ritual. There are even some contra-indications with food.DO NOT EATany of the following ingredients 24 hours before and 24 hours after the ritual:Aged cheeses, red wine, white wine, beer,any other sort of alcohol, chocolates, yeast extract, pineapple, soy sauce, whipped cream, avocados, bananas, liver, coffee, figs, raisins, yogurts, sauerkraut, pickled herring.
 
 - DRUGS & MEDICINES
 
DO NOT USE any drugs like mescaline, cocaine, heroine, xtc or any sort of alcohol
on the day of the ritual. Any regular medicine containing an MAO- inhibitor is ABSOLUTE CONTRA-INDICATION for participation.There are also other medicines which are a contra-indication. If you use any sort of regular medicine, please contact the staff before the ritual. Should you have suffered or are still suffering at present from psychiatric problems, psychosis or any mental disorder, you won’t be permitted to participate. If you are suffering from drug addiction, you are welcome, as long as you do not take drugs on the day of the ritual. We ask you to ring us inadvance, since an nterview is advisable.

- CLOTHES
 
The wearing of white clothes is an essential part of the ritual. It is linked to the original Brazilian sjamanistic tradition. We will be strict in applying this rule “at the door”. We do not prescribe clothes in terms of form, texture or material. Everything goes, as long as it is (a shade of) white.
For your own comfort during the ritual, bring a blanket (no red or black colour), a cushion, or anything else that will help you through 5 hours of sitting/laying silently. Personal power objects can be put on the central altar.
